Yesterday we took Addison to Cartoon Cuts to get her first "real" haircut. The orphanage haircuts are often very short and uneven and we were hoping to add a little shape to Addison's hair. I am not sure that the lady did much better than the orphanage. I guess it is more even, but she cut it really short! Addison didn't fuss too much - but it may be because the lady did it less than 3 minutes!
Oh, poor Addison!! She's breaking my heart with those sad faces! Even WITH the orphanage haircut, she has the nicest hair!! It'll grow, Addison, it'll grow...

Oh my...that is a short haircut. But it will grow, and she'll need to get used to going to the
ReplyDelete"Beauty Shop", cause that head of hair will be growing like crazy, and she'll have to have regular appointments to keep it under control. She looks like she calmed down pretty much after the first trauma of being in the "chair". Bob cried and screamed all through his first hair cut and then after that he was like "ok, take a little more off the sides and top". She is such a little sweetheart. Tell her that Grandy and PawPaw love her very much and think she is beautiful, and that her haircut makes her look like a little pixie!

Awww she HATED it! Bless her heart. She is beautiful though. We havent attempted to cut Makily's hair. She would freak out. Hates having her hair and head messed with AT ALL.
