Curious Addison!!

Addison is into EVERYTHING!!! It is wonderful and maddening at the same time. I am so thankful that she feels safe enough in her surroundings to go exploring, but does it have to be all the dog food and water bowl plus ALL the cupboards in the kitchen?!?!? I can't tell you how many times I have cleaned up the water or picked up the dogfood. The real downfall is that I can't stay mad at her...she just smiles and turns her big brown eyes at me and I have to laugh! We have babyproofed about 75% but need to finish up quickly!

We are feeling better. Addison is on some antibiotics for a sinus infection. I really didn't think a child with an open cleft could get a sinus infection, but I guess they can. We see the surgeon on Thursday and I am so eager to hear what he has to say. I hope and pray that he says it will be an easy repair and that he can start ASAP.

Nathan is getting along pretty well with his sister. Addison loves to come over and pat his head and give him kisses. He laughs when she does it.

  1. She looks so cute in that pink outfit! And Nathan is growing so much! Will you let us know what the surgeon says after her appointment? We are mailing your two Christmas boxes tomorrow. I've included the gift receipts in case Nathan and Addison already have what we got them. There are Christmas ornaments in the smaller of the two boxes for each of them, with their names on them. I check here every day to see new pictures of the kids.

A, you are just getting started with the cabinets and dog food and water dishes! Your husband used to get into the dog food. He cut some of his teeth on Purina Dog Biscuits! LOL Of course, the dogs also loved his zweiback toast, too! So it was kind of an even exchange. Give Addison one of your stainless steel bowls and a wooden spoon and she will have an almost indestructible toy for at least a couple of weeks. If you are really brave, give her a metal sppon instead of a wooden one! :oD

Take care, have fun, and I'm so glad that you all are feeling better.

We love all of you. Give the kids hugs and kisses from us.

    Love, Bill and Tillie

ps: you can never, ever get a house 100% childproofed...never
...they will always find a way around the best childproofing. Sorry to have to tell you that, but it's the truth! LOL

  2. Oh, sorry..I forgot. Addison's present keeps talking and making noises and there is NO way to turn it off, so if you get the package and it's singing about learning something new tomorrow..don't worry it'll eventually quit until you move it again. It sings every time someone moves it the least little bit. Well, at least it wasn't one of those popcorn popper noise maker things! LOL

    Hugs again.
